Electricity in all rooms
Heating
The cabin is heated with electric heaters that provide a solid base heat all year round. In addition, you can use a wood-burning stove in the kitchen and a fireplace in the living room. Only logs should be used in the fireplace. You can also use heating briquettes in the kitchen oven.
Electric heaters are controlled via app. This means that the cabin is warm when you arrive. A little heating in the wood-burning stove and the fireplace provides extra coziness and warmth.
Remote control of the heat from the electric stoves means that electricity is only used when there are people in the cabin. It is important that you do not change the settings of the ovens, because this may result in the app not being able to contact the system.

Safety
Safety is an important topic during your stay. Familiarize yourself with where to find fire extinguishers, smoke detectors, fire blankets and CO detectors and gas detectors:
Kitchen:
Large fire extinguisher located to the right of the kitchen window.
Fire blanket in a red box on the kitchen wall.
The gas detector is located under the bench.
Sleeping room:
The smoke detector is located in the ceiling.
The CO detector is located by the doo.
Outhouse:
Fire extinguishers are placed under the window in the main room.
Fire safety outside:
If you use the fire pit, fill a bucket with water as a fire emergency. If it is dry in the field, no open fire should be lit anywhere - including the campfire.
Drinking water
You can get good and safe drinking water from the water post close to the cabin. You will find it on the opposite side of the road, in relation to the car park at the cabin.
There are two 10-litre water cans in the kitchen, and you use these to fill up with water.
As you can see in the picture on the right, you pull up the lever on the water tap to get fresh water. It may take a few seconds before the water comes out of the tap.
